In April the Year Beyond (Yeboneers) group from the Witzenberg District, gathered at Kaleo Guest Farm in the Koue-Bokkeveld to attend the Arts for Psychological Support workshop facilitated by service provider Spieël Arts Therapies Collective. It is always a very intense, fun, colourful, and fully immersive experience for attendees with overwhelmingly positive feedback. It is indeed a powerful medium for course facilitation and deep impact on attendees.
We’ve received feedback from the participants and facilitators about the impact of this workshop. This is normally included in a report and used to inform follow up programmes and to improve the workshop to maximum benefit for all involved. As implementing partner of the Year Beyond programme and specifically in support of the group in the Witzenberg, we're excited to see the growth in these young people during the course of the year.
