HIV/AIDS project - Chargo Trust

The Aids project at Chargo Trust provides all permanent workers who test positive for HIV/AIDS with medication for as long as they are working on the farm.

Farm workers who receive treatment benefit from better health and the medicine prolongs people's lives enabling sufferers to live a longer, healthier life.

In addition to this project, Chargo applied for additional funding to provide education and support for AIDS infected permanent workers to improve their understanding of the disease as well as support and information about living with HIV/AIDS.
